Can we use it for pool parties and VIP areas?
Yes. FastBar runs on battery-powered tablets and phones, so you can sell from a pool deck, a cabana area or a pop-up VIP bar, with RFID wristbands, payment cards, mobile wallets and room charges.
Will it work outdoors with no WiFi?
Yes. FastBar keeps taking payments without a connection and syncs everything once it's back online.
Can guests charge to their room?
Yes. Staff enter the room number at the point of sale, and you export room charges in bulk from the Event Control Center to import into your property management system.
Can VIPs and sponsors get perks?
Yes. Load drinks, food, merchandise or comps onto each guest's RFID wristband, with different perks for VIPs, sponsors and other guests. Every redemption is recorded, so you know exactly how your hospitality was used.
Do guests have to connect a payment card?
No. A wristband can carry perks with no payment card at all. If you'd like guests to keep buying once their perks are used, they can connect one. If not, leave it out.
Will it pass our IT and security review?
FastBar is fully PCI compliant, payments are processed by Stripe, and your team can sign in with Google or Microsoft single sign-on, with access set by role. FastBar for IT teams
